Use amplification carefully

Raising volume can saturate the sound and harm hearing. You choose the level.

600% is not a safe level

Above 100% the existing signal is amplified. It does not improve clarity by itself and can add saturation, noise, or sudden jumps. Lower system or headphone volume first. Increase slowly. Stop if you feel pain, ringing, or discomfort.

Delay does not make sound play earlier

Delay adds wait in 25 ms steps, up to 5000 ms. It cannot make already-played sound happen sooner. 0 ms clears delay only. Reset all also sets volume to 100%. The result depends on the source, the site, Chrome, the OS, and the output device.

Not every tab behaves the same

Some pages, protected content, or Chrome changes can block or cut processing. Reloading, stopping audio, or changing devices can also undo the adjustment. Identical results across sites or machines are not guaranteed, nor is uninterrupted operation. chrome://, the Chrome Web Store, and other restricted pages cannot be captured.

You choose the level

The person using the extension chooses the values, checks the result, and respects the site, the content, and the environment. Audio Nudge is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Root Digital CR is not liable for hearing damage, equipment damage, interruptions, or indirect harm. This does not remove rights that cannot be waived.
